Transfer refills: gift unused water refills in under a minute
Transfer refills lets a Refillr drinking water customer in Kottayam with a coupon bundle send unused refills to another Refillr customer who has a bundle, from the app, in under a minute. Only refills move: your jars and your refundable jar deposit stay with you, and refills already set aside for booked deliveries are kept safe.
How to transfer refills
- Open "Share refills with someone". Find it on the Home screen of the Refillr app and under Account. Sign in at refillr.in with your mobile number.
- Enter their mobile number. Use the number they use with Refillr. We show their name so you can be sure it is the right person.
- Choose how many refills. Tap + and − to pick the number. The app tells you the most you can send right now. You can add a short message, like "Happy housewarming!".
- Check and confirm. Review who gets the refills and how many you will have left, then tap Transfer. Both of you get a WhatsApp message with a reference number.

Good to know
- Booked deliveries are safe. Refills set aside for deliveries already scheduled stay with you. The app shows how many are kept aside.
- Referral refills stay yours. Refills you earned from referrals can only be used for your own deliveries and cannot be transferred.
- Jars and deposit stay. Only refills move. Your jars and your refundable jar deposit stay with you.
- Both get a message. You and the person receiving the refills each get a WhatsApp message with a reference number.
- They must have a bundle. The person needs to be a Refillr customer with a coupon bundle. If not, the app offers to ask Refillr on WhatsApp for you.
- Check before you confirm. A transfer cannot be undone from the app. If you pick the wrong person, message us straight away and we will help.

Transfer refills: questions
Who can transfer refills?
Anyone with a coupon bundle and unused refills. If you share your bundle with a second location, the main account holder makes the transfer. A delivery location cannot send or receive refills on its own.
Can I send refills to someone who has no account?
Not directly. They need to be a Refillr customer with a bundle first. Tap "Ask Refillr on WhatsApp" in the app and we will help them get started.
Why can I not send all my refills?
Refills kept for deliveries already booked, and refills earned from referrals, are not available to transfer. The top of the screen shows how many you can send now.
I sent refills to the wrong number. What now?
Message us on WhatsApp straight away with the reference number from your confirmation. Refillr can reverse a transfer made by mistake.
Where can I see my past transfers?
At the bottom of the same screen under "Your transfers", with the date, the person and the number of refills.
Does the person get cash or a discount?
No. They receive refills in their own bundle and use them for deliveries like any other refill.
